		The Centre for Basic Space Science (CBSS) is embarking on NECOP project to Monitor Real Time Climatic and Environmental Hazards in Nigeria. This CBSS aim to achieve in collaboration with University of Delaware, NIMET, & Nigeria Universities. In preparation for this project, CBSS has procured equipment for 5 stations. Installation currently going on at Nsukka, MAKURDI, Abuja, Lagos, PH, Five more stations with 2007 Budget which is yet to be received.
